TIMBO combines yoga-like movement, breath, guided meditation and a workbook-based approach to explore and better understand the impact of emotions such as fear, guilt, shame and grief.
Research shows that upon completion of one full TIMBO program, participants symptoms of depression, anxiety and trauma (PTSD) are significantly lower and women score higher on a measure of self compassion after participation in the program, as compared to before.
Alex Murray-Golay is a psychotherapist with 20 years experience. She is co-facilitating with Lynn Eikenberry and Katherine Gekas, who have been teaching the TIMBO model for many years in and around Boston. This is the first TIMBO group offered in New Hampshire.
